EB Contracts is currently seeking an experienced SAP / Senior Authorised Person for a major Data Centre project in Belgium. This is a site-based contract role suited to a qualified SAP with strong experience across MV/HV switching, electrical safety procedures, permits, isolations, energisation, and commissioning support within mission-critical environments. Role Overview Position: SAP / Senior Authorised Person Sector: Data Centres Location: Belgium Role Type: Contract / Site-Based Rate: €90 per hour Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Belgium Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Carrying out SAP duties across MV/HV electrical systems. Managing switching, isolations, energisation, and permit-to-work activities. Ensuring compliance with site electrical safety rules and project procedures. Reviewing and implementing switching schedules, isolation plans, and energisation procedures. Coordinating with APs, electricians, testers, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and site management. Supporting safe energisation and commissioning activities. Maintaining accurate records of permits, switching operations, isolations, and associated safety documentation. Identifying, managing, and escalating electrical safety risks. Supporting LOTO procedures and controlled access to energised areas. Promoting a safety-first culture across all electrical activities on site. Key Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as an SAP / Senior Authorised Person. Strong MV/HV switching and electrical safety experience. Data Centre or mission-critical project experience preferred. Strong understanding of permits, isolations, LOTO, energisation, commissioning, and electrical safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret SLDs, electrical drawings, switching schedules, and isolation documentation. Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment. A professional and safety-focused approach. Eligibility to work in Belgium.
